I would prefer to think that this could be dedicated to any child who has lost a Daddy.

I thought it was awfull and just designed to pull at the heartstrings. bit of sad music+a sad childs voice =
no thought process involved.

And despite the clichéd methods used...its execution still fails miserably.

I'm not quite so convinced, but I do admit i had a lil tear in my eye. I think kids are very resiliant, and this is playing on the heart strings. A child will feel some of the emotions yes, but they learn to move on and very quickly, something which us adults don't do as well. It's in later years when they feel they have missed out that they realise the damage done to their lives. I'm inclined to think this is just propaganda or someone wanting to advocate their flash design skills.

Yeah thats what i though aswell, and it didnt really move me or made me cry because again its american.
I dont like it when Americans make a big deal all he time about there country or them selves, because they dont mind killing us brits or iragis or anyone else do they, and they dont mind setting up camps to torture people, but thats ok i guess because they are americans and all.
It just annoys me the publicity they have for there country, its annoying.

Why do you have to compare everything with the war, these people were murdered by terrorists while going to or at work it is in no way the same as a war!
New York, Madrid, Bali and London are not war zones, they were innocent people going about their daily lives. Don't you even feel the slightest bit of sympathy for them?

Yes but, as I said on another thread, some of us still feel an awful lot of sympathy for the thousands of innocent citizens killed in the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan as well. Not just soliders, fighters, terrorists, warriors. Ordinary Iraqi, Afghani people going about their daily lives. How much different is this to a bomb on a tube in London or Madrid? We mourn for all the lives lost, but a life has the same value as any other.

It is a big difference, those other places are war zones (sad yes, but true) it is expected in a war zone to be bomb not on a tube train going to work in the morning.

So it's worse for people to die in a place that isn't a war zone than for people to die in a place that is a war zone?
You sure have a funny view of humanity.

Thank you, no one cares anymore about the victims of terrorism (maybe not no one) all people are worried about is Iraq. The US and UK have done these people a favour, they brought down the Taliban and Sudam Hussain.

Its strange when people are expected think compassionately globally, and I tend to agree. I do feel sometimes that its often forgotten that globally that does include america, little girls are little girls the world over. American or not. American little girls? Iraqi little girls? I see little girls.
